The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned to EHCP outcomes.
  • Support pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech & language needs, and moderate learning difficulties.
  • Create a structured, nurturing classroom environment where every pupil feels safe and valued.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCO, therapists, and external agencies.
  • Monitor, assess, and evidence individual progress.
  • Contribute to annual reviews and multi-agency meetings.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have experience working with pupils with SEND (mainstream with SEN experience or specialist provision).
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management using a calm, therapeutic approach.
  • Be patient, resilient, and adaptable.
  • Have high expectations for both academic and personal development.
  • Be committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
