Supporting young people aged 16-19 years with Learning Difficulties in a Special Needs 6th Form provision from 8.30am - 4.00pm, Monday-Friday. We are exclusively seeking passionate and professional Support Workers who go all-out to provide the very best care and support for their clients. This is a fantastic opportunity in Greenwich within a brand new Special Needs 6th Form School! There are full-time, part-time and ad-hoc positions available.
If you have experience supporting individuals with Learning Difficulties, Mental Health needs and/or Physical Disabilities, then we would love to hear from you. We are consistently partnering with 'GOOD' and 'OUTSTANDING' provisions.
Support Worker Main Duties:- Working in collaboration with your team to deliver the highest quality of care
- Following students' specific care plans
- Teaching skills for independent living such as cooking, cleaning and shopping
- Supporting students' social and behavioural development
- The ideal Support Worker will have experience working within an assisted living facility, SEN school or care home
- A positive and caring attitude with excellent communication skills
- Reliability and a strong team work ethic are essential within this role
