About the Role
We are looking for a caring and dedicated SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Learning Support Assistant to join our school team in Bolton. This full-time, term-time role involves supporting students who need extra emotional and educational guidance to succeed in their learning and personal development.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and classroom support for students with SEMH needs
- Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning plans and strategies
- Monitor and report on student progress to teaching staff
- Build positive relationships and offer emotional support to students
- Promote students' social, emotional, and behavioural development
Requirements
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs is desirable
