A Cover Supervisor is needed in a Private Day School & Sixth Form for Girls in South East London. This Cover Supervisor position can be part or full time and will be temporary in the first instance.
If appointed as a Cover Supervisor, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher
- Managing pupil behaviour in line with the school's policies
- Ensuring students complete their work based on the lesson objective
- Providing feedback to the team in relation to pupil's behaviour and standard of work
The rates of pay for this Cover Supervisor post will be between £85.50 to £116.55 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.
The School: An All Through Independent Day School for girls aged 3 to 18 years old. Founded in 1880, there are currently just under 700 pupils on enrolment. Notable former pupils include actresses, artists and professors.
Requirements: You're welcome to apply if you're a recent graduate or experienced Cover Supervisor. Applications are also welcome if you're a British trained Cover Supervisor or overseas trained Cover Supervisor. All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this role as a Cover Supervisor:
- Right to work in the UK
- Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
- UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent
- Experience of working with children/teenagers/young people or as a Cover Supervisor in UK Secondary schools
