Immediate start with flexible work patterns. Suitable for a recent Graduate or experienced Cover Supervisor. A Cover Supervisor is needed in a Mixed Church of England Secondary & Sixth Form in South East London. This position can be part or full time and will be temporary in the first instance.
If appointed as a Cover Supervisor, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher
- Managing pupil behaviour in line with the school's policies
- Ensuring students complete their work
- Providing feedback to the team in relation to pupils' behaviour
The rates of pay for this post will be between £85.50 to £120 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each applicant.
The School: A Church of England Secondary Academy located in the London Borough of Bexley. It is a mixed non-selective school located in what is otherwise a selective borough and the only Church of England secondary school in the borough. Although classed as an Academy, it is also a Comprehensive School. The school's motto is 'God working with us, and through us.' There are currently just over 1000 pupils on enrolment.
Requirements: You’re welcome to apply if you’re a recent Graduate or experienced Cover Supervisor. Applications are also welcome if you’re a British trained Cover Supervisor or overseas trained Cover Supervisor. All applicants must have the following in order to be considered for this role:
- Right to work in the UK
- Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
- UK Bachelor’s Degree or an overseas equivalent
- Experience of working with children/teenagers or as a Cover Supervisor in UK Secondary schools
