Reeson Education is collaborating with a dedicated Special Educational Needs school in the Wigan area to recruit a compassionate and proactive SEMH Teaching Assistant. This intimate setting caters to students aged 7 to 13 who face challenges in mainstream schools or alternative provisions due to Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs, complex learning difficulties, and behavioural challenges.
SEMH Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Individualised Support: Provide personalized assistance to students, ensuring their unique learning needs are met.
- Collaborative Planning: Work closely with teachers and support staff to develop and implement effective strategies tailored to each student.
- 1:1 Attention: Deliver one-on-one support to help students thrive academically and emotionally.
- Behaviour Management: Implement positive behaviour strategies to maintain a conducive learning environment.

SEMH Teaching Assistant Qualifications and Experience:
