Are you a confident and dedicated Teacher ready to inspire students and deliver engaging lessons that promote progress and achievement? Reeson Education are seeking a skilled Teacher to work in supportive and well-established mainstream schools across Barnsley (S75) starting from September 2026. This role is ideal for a teacher who can deliver high-quality lessons, maintain high expectations, and support students to achieve their full academic potential.

About the Teacher Role:

As a Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons across your subject specialism, helping pupils develop confidence, knowledge, and key skills. You will establish clear routines, encourage positive behaviour, and create a productive learning environment that supports academic success and personal development.

Key Responsibilities as Teacher:

  • High-Quality Teaching: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners and support progress across the curriculum.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain positive behaviour, clear routines, and high expectations within the classroom.
  • Assessment & Feedback: Assess, monitor, and track pupil achievement, providing constructive feedback to support continued development.
  • Differentiated Learning: Adapt teaching strategies and resources to ensure all students can access learning and achieve success.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and school leaders to support student achievement and wellbeing.

To succeed as a Teacher, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching within mainstream primary or secondary school settings.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A positive, organised, and resilient approach to teaching and learning.
  • A commitment to raising standards and promoting student success.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through Reeson Education.
