Start Date: After the Easter Holidays
We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and compassionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistants (SEN TAs) to work in specialist SEN schools across the Barnet area. These schools support children and young people with a range of additional needs, and we are looking for individuals who are passionate about inclusion and making a real difference in education.
The Role:
- Support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
- Help students access the curriculum and develop independence
- Support communication, social skills, and emotional regulation
- Follow individual education and care plans
- Assist with sensory needs and behaviour strategies
- Provide personal care where required (toileting, dressing, feeding, etc.)
- Work closely with teachers and other support professionals
We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (desirable, not essential)
- A calm, patient, and resilient approach
- Willingness to support with personal care
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
