Role: Primary Teacher

Hours: 2 days per week
Pay: £132 to £232 per day (PAYE or Umbrella)
Contract: Part-Time Full School Year
Responsibilities
- Teaching a Lower KS2 class as a part-time Primary Teacher for 2 days per week
- Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils can succeed
- Supporting pupils of varying abilities to make strong academic progress
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress effectively
- Working closely with teaching assistants and support staff to meet individual learning needs
- Promoting positive behaviour and high expectations within the classroom
- Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
- Contributing to the wider life of the school as a committed Primary Teacher
- Working collaboratively with the Lower KS2 team and senior leadership
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Recent experience teaching within KS2 in a UK primary school
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and Lower KS2 expectations
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to differentiate learning to support a range of abilities and needs
- Enthusiastic, organised and committed Primary Teacher
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Availability for a 2‑day-per-week role for the full school year
