Position: Supply Teacher
Pay: £140-£220 per day, depending on experience and assignment.
Location: Southampton, Hampshire.
Start: ASAP, following registration and safeguarding checks.
Working pattern: Flexible daily and short-term supply.
Your Role as a Supply Teacher
Working as a Supply Teacher , you will help pupils stay engaged during staff absence and provide school teams with a clear handover at the end of the booking.
Teach the planned learning for your agreed year group or subject and respond to pupils' questions.
Establish classroom routines quickly and follow the school's approach to behaviour and safeguarding.
Adapt explanations and resources to support pupils with different learning needs.
Provide feedback on progress and complete any planning or assessment agreed for the assignment.
What We Are Looking For in a Supply Teacher
QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification , with relevant primary or secondary experience.
A confident Supply Teacher who is organised, adaptable and reliable.
Strong classroom management and the ability to work effectively with support staff.
Enhanced DBS on the update service , or willingness to apply for one, alongside satisfactory safeguarding checks.
