The successful candidate will need to be confident taking responsibility for a classroom, delivering high-quality learning and providing targeted support to pupils with additional needs.
You will work closely with the SENCo and wider school team, supporting the delivery of effective SEN provision and helping pupils make strong academic, social and emotional progress.
Responsibilities of this HLTA role:
- Lead and manage a classroom, taking responsibility for day-to-day organisation, routines, behaviour and the learning environment.
- Support with lesson planning
- Deliver engaging, differentiated and inclusive lessons to pupils with SEN and additional needs.
- Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support to address individual learning needs.
- Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development through appropriate SEN strategies and interventions.
- Work closely with the SENCo, teachers and support staff to ensure pupils receive consistent and effective support.
- Build strong, professional relationships with parents and carers, communicating confidently about pupil progress, behaviour and individual needs. xsabvtc
