Reeson Education is looking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant professionals to join our team for September 2026 opportunities across Havering, including Romford, Hornchurch, Upminster and Rainham.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with additional needs across a range of welcoming primary schools. Responsibilities of a SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Provide 1:1 support as an SEN Teaching Assistant for pupils with additional needs
- Support small intervention groups as an SEN Teaching Assistant
- Work with children with autism, ADHD, SEMH and speech and language needs as an SEN Teaching Assistant
- Assist the class teacher and SENCO as an SEN Teaching Assistant
- Promote positive behaviour, confidence and independence as an SEN Teaching Assistant
- Help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment as an SEN xgikmsk Teaching Assistant
Requirements for a SEN Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting children with special educational needs
- A caring, patient and resilient approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of behaviour management and SEN strategies
- A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
- Availability to start in September 2026
