Are you an experienced PE Teacher looking for a new opportunity within a specialist SEN setting? A secondary SEN school in Harrow is seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to join their team full-time from September, with the opportunity to become permanent.
This role involves working with secondary-aged students with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and additional needs. The successful candidate will be confident adapting PE lessons to suit different abilities and encouraging students to participate in physical activity.
The Role:
- Plan and deliver PE lessons for students with SLD
- Adapt activities to meet individual learning and physical needs
- Encourage participation, communication, and confidence
- Support positive behaviour and classroom routines
- Work alongside teaching assistants and the wider SEN team
Requirements:
- QTS or a relevant teaching qualification
- Previous PE teaching experience
