Help deliver games, arts and crafts, physical activities and other structured or child-led play. The After School Club Assistant will encourage positive interaction between children and help everyone participate. Support snack times and general routines where required. An After School Club Assistant will help ensure children remain safe and appropriately supervised. Follow school procedures around behaviour, safeguarding and collection by parents or carers. The After School Club Assistant will assist with setting up and packing away activities. What We're Looking For in an After School Club Assistant Previous After School Club Assistant , school, childcare or playwork experience is welcomed. Transferable experience from sports coaching, youth work, mentoring, tutoring, childcare or other work with children can also be considered. Reliable and able to commit to accepted bookings. Positive, engaging and comfortable supervising groups of primary-aged children. Strong safeguarding awareness and professional communication. An After School Club Assistant should be comfortable working across different schools depending on availability.
