Overview
Are you passionate about making pets a priority? Here at CVS, so are we! We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for animals to join us as a Veterinary Receptionist at All Creatures and Rees Veterinary Centre.
Location: Warrington – to be based across our two branches
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, with shifts between 08:30 – 19:30 and a share in the Saturday 08:30 – 12:30 rota

About the role
Day-to-day duties of the role will include:
- Answering phones and booking appointments
- Responding to queries via phone, in person and email
- Registering new clients
- Completing insurance forms
- Dispensing medications
- Taking payments
- And most importantly; providing a warm and welcoming experience to our clients arriving at the practice
What we\’re looking for in our Veterinary Receptionist
- Previous Receptionist experience is essential, veterinary experience is a plus!
- Resilient with the ability to cope with potentially distressing and emotional situations
- An excellent communicator with strong empathy
- Excellent customer service skills and experience in dealing with members of the public
- A positive attitude and excellent teamwork skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other database management and operating systems
