These are implemented into its clients' processes across the world in various domains such as aeronautics, defense, nuclear, metallurgy and offshore.

The Service Engineer will have to work on his own or as part of a team. The main activity is the service of electrical and automated lifting equipment, both indoor and outdoor.

You should have significant experience with lifting equipment, primarily mechanical, along with some basic electrical knowledge. Responsibilities include fault finding, analysis of electrical wiring, reporting faults on automation, and isolating electrical devices to a safe status.

Work will be during normal working hours on weekdays, with possible call-outs at nights and over weekends on a rota basis.

Profile:

  • BTEC or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering, up to Bachelor in Electrical and Automation with the relevant 18th Edition up to date.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience with customer relationships, from an integrated maintenance service team or an outsourced service company.
  • CSCS, Safety Passport, Asbestos, Harness and Work at Height certifications.
  • Full clean driving licence mandatory.
  • Fluent in English, able to read and write short technical reports and intervention job cards.
  • Literate with tablet and smartphone technology, used daily for job reports.
  • Enthusiastic, patient, communicative with good interpersonal relationships with coworkers, capable of working alone as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to lead interventions and jobs would be an asset.
  • Knowledge in automation and programming would be an asset, along with capabilities in identifying programming faults.
  • Very good communication skills and a fine understanding of the audience to report to are mandatory.
