A growing recruitment software company is looking for a high-performing Account Executive to drive new business across the UK market. The business provides Applicant Tracking System (ATS) solutions used by some of the UK's best-known brands. With a strong product, established client base, and ongoing investment in development, they are now focused on scaling their new customer acquisition.
This is a pure outbound role. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new customers, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through to deal close. This role suits someone who enjoys building pipeline from scratch, thrives in a target-driven environment, and wants real ownership over revenue.
Key Responsibilities- Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting (calls, email, LinkedIn, video outreach)
- Own the full sales cycle from initial contact to close
- Identify and engage decision-makers within HR, Talent, and Recruitment teams
- Run discovery calls to understand client challenges and position the ATS solution effectively
- Deliver product demos tailored to client needs
- Build and manage a strong pipeline, maintaining accurate CRM records
- Negotiate and close deals in line with revenue targets
- Collaborate with marketing and leadership to refine messaging and outbound strategy
- Stay up to date with trends in recruitment tech and competitor activity
- Essential: Proven experience as an Account Executive, Business Development Manager, or similar new business role in SaaS
- Track record of hitting or exceeding revenue targets
- Strong outbound prospecting experience (this is not an inbound/closing-only role)
- Experience managing full sales cycles from prospecting to close
- Confident communicator with strong commercial awareness
- Desirable: Experience selling ATS, HR tech, or recruitment software
- Understanding of recruitment or talent acquisition workflows
- Experience selling into HR, Talent, or People teams
- £75,000 base salary with £140,000 OTE (uncapped commission)
- Fully remote working (UK-based)
