We are looking for an expert to manage the technical search strategy for our platform, which currently serves three million authors.

What you'll do
- Lead technical SEO initiatives for a team of seven writers.
- Perform comprehensive audits covering site architecture, indexation, crawling, schema, and Core Web Vitals.
- Experiment with and deploy tactics to boost visibility on traditional search engines and AI-driven platforms.
- Track performance metrics including rankings, AI citations, and click-through rates to guide optimization efforts.
- Develop automated workflows using AI to assist with content creation, reporting, and search analysis.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in technical and on-page SEO along with site architecture.
- Proficient in using Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and Google Analytics.
- Practical experience optimizing for AI search tools like Google AI Overviews, Chat GPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini.
- Solid understanding of Schema. org, web crawling, and modern web tech.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both editorial and engineering departments.
- Experience using automation and AI tools to scale search operations.

- Previous success scaling organic traffic for a startup.
- Experience optimizing for discovery channels such as You Tube, Reddit, and Perplexity.
- Technical skills in SQL, Python, or automation platforms like Make and n8n.
