Job Description
Reedsy Learning is our online publishing school, with over 50 courses and over 200,000 students to date. We’re looking for a Community Intern to assist the Reedsy Learning team with managing our community of writers, as well as promoting the course and events. You will learn about community building, email outreach, influencer campaigns, and growth marketing.
In your internship, you will:
- Identify and contact new leads for affiliate and influencer outreach;
- Manage communication with our influencers and affiliates;
- Engage with students and moderate chat spaces on our custom community app (Circle);
- Help moderate live webinars;
- Generate ideas for introducing our course and events to new audiences.
Requirements
We’re looking for someone with:
- Analytical mind
- Experience identifying audiences and targeting them with marketing campaigns
- Experience with community management
- Good understanding of Google Suite
- Strong writing skills
- Native-level English speaker
- Availability to work full-time for 6 months
Bonus Points
- Background in creative writing and/or growth marketing
- A desire to initiate and act on your own ideas
- Proven experience in managing communities and scaling acquisition for a startup or a fast-growing company
- Fluent in multiple languages.
