Permanent Position from September 2026. Reed's School is a fantastic place to work. Teachers and pupils alike flourish in its friendly, supportive, forward-thinking community. It is one of the leading Independent Day and Boarding Schools in the country and is proud to be providing an education for around 800 pupils, including a significant number who are funded by our charitable foundation. The school is all-boys from 11-16 and has a co-educational Sixth Form. Sport represents a prominent force within Reed's School, engaging a large, enthusiastic, and active sporting community of both pupils and staff.

We are excited to be recruiting for a well-qualified and enthusiastic Head of Athletic Development to join our thriving and highly successful Sports Department. The role-holder is expected to have impressive leadership skills, high level S&C expertise and experience of coaching young people. We are seeking to build on our outstanding programme by continuing to provide quality sessions, which aim to improve our students' experience. The role will also work alongside the Head of High-Performance, ensuring careful monitoring of our Sports and Academy Scholars. Increasing student awareness of up-to-date training principles, injury management and workload balance is vital. The ability to operate as part of a team is also hugely important.
