About the Role
This role is required for driving and covering the domestic market and driving sales for WTM in India and working with the Account Manager.
Responsibilities
- Developing and executing comprehensive sales plans to exceed revenue targets across all revenue lines with a focus on face-to-face and digital opportunities for each of your clients.
- Space Sell in exhibitions, WTM India to achieve strategic and financial targets.
- Driving force in selling a suite of products to help clients achieve objectives including participation at events, market-leading digital products, sponsorship & branding opportunities.
- Accountable for ensuring that all essential customer information and interactions are recorded accurately in Salesforce.
- Maintain a robust and accurate pipeline which can be relied upon for accurate reporting to key stakeholders.
- Research and visit competitive exhibitions to source new ideas and market practices.
- Contributing to the preparation and development of all sales promotions material to encourage visit promotion.
- Coordinates with Operation and Marketing team to assure the exhibition is of the highest standard.
- Produce new sales initiatives for maximum client retention and acquisition.
Requirements
- Possess a proven track record of B2B space sales with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience, preferably from travel exhibition, travel, or hospitality industry.
- Be a team player and display good communication skills.
- Able to travel as needed for accounts within India/assigned territory.
- Able to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business.
- Demonstrate great networking and successful negotiation skills.
- A Can-do attitude, strategic mindset, and solution orientation.
