About the role
The FP&A Manager is a pivotal member of the UK Financial Planning & Analysis team, responsible for overseeing event reporting across the RX UK and German business units. This role manages the financial reporting process for a portfolio of events and serves as a trusted business partner to key stakeholders, including event and portfolio leaders as well as senior management.
They play a critical role in delivering financial insights, forecasting, and strategic guidance to support executive decision-making. The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure financial strategies are aligned with broader corporate objectives.
Responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing financial data and reports, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations, advising on financial decisions related to budgeting, forecasting, and actuals, and overseeing the preparation of commentary on financial performance and variances.

Serve as a trusted finance partner to event and portfolio leaders, providing strategic and operational support.
Act as the primary finance contact for events in your portfolio, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
Collaborate across departments (., sales, marketing, operations, credit control) to support event performance.
Lead the development and management of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
Ensure financial data is accurately entered and maintained across all relevant systems.
Analyze and consolidate financial results, including foreign exchange impacts, and present insights to senior stakeholders.
Prepare and deliver clear, actionable financial reports highlighting key metrics, risks, and opportunities.
Uphold financial reporting standards (IFRS), support audits, and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
Requirements
Professionally qualified accountant (., ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience of financial ERP systems, with Oracle / Hyperion an advantage.
Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting within a dynamic business environment.
Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial systems.
Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
Collaborative mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and internal control frameworks.
