About the role
The Senior Commercial Strategy Manager partners with RX’s global Business Units to drive commercial excellence across the digital product portfolio. Rather than setting price points directly, this role develops insight-backed global recommendations on pricing and packaging, which are then localised and executed by regional teams. You’ll identify revenue opportunities, support pricing evolution to reflect new value, and enable execution in larger markets. This cross-functional role spans commercial, product, and sales—coaching teams, sharing best practices, and contributing to strategic planning and quarterly reviews. As a trusted partner to the Director of Commercial Strategy & Enablement, you’ll be positioned for future leadership growth.
Responsibilities
- Build trusted partnerships with regional teams to identify pricing opportunities and drive measurable growth on key events.
- Support the Director of Commercial Strategy in enhancing commercial performance across high-priority business units.
- Lead pricing strategies for new products and features, including research and integration into global pricing models.
- Collaborate with regional pricing experts to tailor recommendations that align with market needs and commercial goals.
- Analyse commercial performance data to uncover insights, trends, and opportunities that inform strategic decisions.
- Guide and review the work of an overseas analyst, providing feedback and support to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Develop and deliver tools, coaching, and frameworks that build commercial fluency across the digital product organisation.
- Partner on long-term planning and succession development, contributing to the commercial vision and preparing for future leadership.
Requirements
- Experience in commercial, pricing or hands on data analysis & insights
- Demonstrated ability to balance customer value with pricing, aligning solutions to both local and global needs.
- Skilled in translating complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives that resonate across audiences.
- Collaborative and proactive communicator, confident in coaching and influencing at all levels.
- Strong commercial and pricing acumen, with a strategic mindset and intuition for value-based monetisation.
- Proficient in using data to build financial models, forecasts, and support business recommendations.
- Experience in leading or mentoring others, with a focus on inclusive leadership and change management.
- Comfortable working across multiple markets and regions, adapting strategies to diverse customer needs.
- Professional training or experience in data analysis, pricing strategy, or revenue management is a plus.
