Job Description

My very successful market leading client, located in Winwick, Warrington are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative for an immediate start. This role involves both picking and packing in a dynamic warehouse environment. 

A trustworthy, reliable candidate is required as the warehouse is of a small size with a small number of warehouse operatives working together as a team.

Temporary Warehouse Operative: – Picking & PackingLocation: Winwick, WarringtonDuration: Approx. 8 weeks – Potential extensionPay Rate: £12.50 per hourHours: Full-time: Monday to Thursday 08:30 – 17:00 and Friday 08:30 – 15:45 (37.5 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking and packing items accurately and efficiently, using handheld scanners and updating paperwork
  • Unloading deliveries and moving stock within the warehouse
  • Following all Health & Safety guidelines and procedures and manual handling
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area
  • Working as part of a team to meet daily targets

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse experience 
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Good attention to detail
  • Punctual, reliable, and safety conscious.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
