My client, an increasingly successful printing services company, are seeking to hire a candidate to join their small but busy warehouse team. The role will essentially be a mixture of varied warehouse work and weekly delivery driving. A standard driving licence is required. You must hold a UK driving licence to apply.
Permanent role available ASAP. Salary £25,207. Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm with one hour lunch break (some flexibility might be needed on certain days, but time given back in lieu).
Responsibilities:- Load, unload, receive, and dispatch goods.
- Pick, pack, store, and deliver goods.
- Ensure efficient goods movement are complete.
- Check goods condition and quantity.
- Verify against purchase orders.
- Book goods into correct locations.
- Dispatch goods correctly.
- Follow ISO procedures.
- Perform daily vehicle safety checks.
- Operate forklift.
- Adhere to Health & Safety regulations.
- Conduct stock takes as needed.
- Maintain warehouse as instructed.
- Perform other duties as directed.
- Report to Warehouse Manager.
- Interact with CDP staff, customers, delivery drivers, and suppliers.
- Knowledge of ISO routines.
- Basic literacy and numeracy.
- Forklift Operator’s Certificate.
- Understanding of height regulations.
- Knowledge of warehouse practices and safety.
