We are advertising on behalf of our client for a dedicated Warehouse/Driver to join their Customer Logistics Team. This role involves maintaining the organisation of the warehouse station and ensuring the delivery of a cost-effective service to both internal and external customers. This is a full-time day shift role, with a weekly working schedule of 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Receive daily shipments from the National Distribution Centre.
- Approve delivery paperwork against deliveries and report any discrepancies.
- Dispose of waste, mainly cardboard, and maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the designated working area.
- Prepare your vehicle, complete safety checks, and load the vehicle to ensure shipments are secure and safe.
- Follow all HSE guidelines while working internally and on customer sites.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience driving a transit-size vehicle.
- Hold a full, clean driving license.
- Background in customer service.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
