We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative for an immediate start in the Grimsby area. This role is perfect for someone who is organised, efficient, and possesses a valid driver's license. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our warehouse, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles.
- Checking for damaged or missing items and then sorting stock for storage in the warehouse.
- Keeping a careful record of the stock on the warehouse management system, so that it can be located quickly.
- Conducting regular stock checks and inventory audits.
- Maintaining high levels of health and safety standards.
- Performing other general warehouse duties as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license is essential.
- Experience in a warehouse role is preferred but not essential.
- Good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects.
