We’re hiring a VBA Developer to join our Application Support team, where you’ll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing internal tools that support critical business operations. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong Excel VBA skills and a passion for problem-solving in a collaborative environment. Must be eligible for SC Clearance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd line support for internal applications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Maintain and enhance Excel-based tools (including macros) for reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate on system change initiatives and represent the team in projects.
- Work directly with users to deliver responsive and effective support.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of tools and services.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in an Excel VBA Application Support role (2nd line incident/problem management).
- Strong technical knowledge in at least one of the following: Treasury or trade settlement systems (e.g. SWIFT, CREST), Microsoft Excel, SQL, Bloomberg/Reuters, PowerShell scripting, Application monitoring tools.
- Experience in both 1st and 2nd line support.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Self‑motivated, organised, and committed to delivering high‑quality service.
- Must be eligible to obtain SC (Security Check) Clearance.
- Understanding of financial instruments (e.g. stocks, bonds, derivatives).
- Experience with Power BI dashboards and data models.
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS).
