We’re looking for a Trainee Paraplanner to join our clients rapidly growing team in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience within a well-respected Chartered Financial Planning company, work alongside experienced professionals, and build a long-term career in financial planning.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting advisers with research, valuations, and client reports
- Maintaining accurate client records using Intelligent Office (IO)
- Preparing suitability reports and processing new business applications
- Liaising with clients, advisers, and providers to ensure smooth service delivery
- Learning the ropes of financial planning, compliance, and report writing
What You’ll Bring:
- A passion for learning and a proactive attitude
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Excellent communication – both written and verbal
- Confidence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A keen eye for detail and a love of problem-solving
- Previous experience in financial services or report writing is a bonus, but not essential
