?? About the Role
Are you ready to kick-start your career in insurance? We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Insurance Claims Handler to join our friendly and professional team! �?You’ll play a key role in supporting the recovery process after motor insurance claims, working with third parties, insurers, solicitors, and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient claim handling. Full training and support will be provided! �?
??? Key Responsibilities
- ?? Assist in gathering evidence and negotiating with third parties and insurers to establish liability.
- ?? Support the recovery of driver excess and other associated costs.
- ?? Help issue proceedings and submit claims to the Motor Insurers' Bureau (MIB).
- ?? Keep all interested parties updated on claim progress.
- ?? Provide information to external personal injury solicitors.
- ?? Coordinate vehicle repair payments and ensure timely processing.
- ?? Handle Total Loss cases, including: – Reviewing engineer reports – Obtaining V5 and related documents – Liaising with leasing and salvage companies
- ?? Raise and process claim payments accurately.
�? Experience & Qualifications
- ? Previous claims handling experience preferred (but not essential!)
- ?? Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
