We are seeking a support technician to provide essential first and second-line technical support to both staff and pupils. This role is crucial as one of the three main points of contact for all tech support. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing mobile technology and covering both hardware and software used within the school, supporting our Teaching and Learning division.

Day-to-day of the role: Serve as one of the primary points of contact for all service desk tickets.
Provide first and second-line technical support to staff and pupils, ensuring efficient resolution of issues.
Prioritise support calls effectively and escalate complex issues to the Systems Manager as necessary.
Support mobile technology along with other hardware and software systems used within the school.
Collaborate with teaching staff to support the school’s requirements for access to information and interactive multimedia learning resources.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in IT support roles, handling both first and second-line support.
Strong understanding of mobile technology as well as other hardware and software used in educational environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical staff.
Experience in educational settings is essential
