We are currently recruiting for a Technical Manager to join a specialist construction business supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across the public sector, social housing, and general construction in London and the South East.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in Construction or Project Management, strong commercial awareness, and a consultative approach to guide clients from project feasibility through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of technical support services across a portfolio of construction projects
  • Act as a liaison between clients and contractors to ensure smooth project delivery and high standards
  • Provide expert technical input throughout all stages of building programmes
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure client expectations are met
  • Support contractors in adhering to compliance, technical standards, and pricing frameworks
  • Maintain accurate records and audit trails using CRM systems
  • Share best practices and ensure national standards are consistently applied
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders
  • Manage and support a team of up to 10 individuals

Candidate Profile:

  • Valid UK driving licence (you must be able to drive across London and South East to various site locations)
  • Qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
  • Proven experience managing construction projects from feasibility to completion
  • Background in social housing, public sector, or local authority construction projects
  • Proficient in using CRM systems or similar project databases
  • Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills
  • Experience managing and developing teams
