Salary: £12.82-14 per hour

Reed Education Cardiff are currently seeking passionate and resilient Teaching Assistants to fulfil day-to-day or long-term bookings within local primary/specialist schools in Caerphilly and surrounding areas.

As the Teaching Assistant, you will be/will need:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, or at least experience within a regulated role
  • A passion for working with children and young people
  • Highly motivated, resilient, and proactive
  • Experience working with SEN/SEMH - desired
  • Be open to working with individuals and small groups
  • Have an Enhanced DBS (Child) on the Update Service – or be willing to obtain one
  • If you have experience or are trained in Makaton, this is highly desirable

The salary for this position is currently set between £12.82-14 per hour, depending on experience.
