Systems Accountant

Reed Finance is working with a key client based in Glasgow to recruit a Systems Accountant. The role is available due to an internal promotion. The role is mostly home working, with a few days required in the office per month. You will report to the Head of Finance.

You'll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the organisations financial systems. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in financial reporting and systems integration, working closely with both finance and IT departments. 

The main duties the positions entails are:

• Assist in the maintenance and development of financial systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Be the ‘go to’ person across the business to answer queries regarding the financial system
• Support the finance team in the preparation of financial reports and analysis
• Collaborate with IT and finance departments to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
• Contribute to the improvement of financial reporting and data integrity

To be considered for the role you must possess the following:

• Qualified, part qualified or qualified by experience will be considered
• Previous experience working in a similar role
• Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
