Job Title: STLS Assessor (Part-Time)

Location: Calderdale & Kirklees (West Yorkshire)

Hours: 22.5 hours per week

Contract Type: Part-Time / Flexible

Are you an experienced and qualified assessor with a passion for supporting the next generation of teaching assistants and school support staff?

We’re looking for a dedicated STLS Assessor to join our team, delivering face-to-face assessments across Calderdale and Kirklees. This role is ideal for someone based in the West Yorkshire region, with strong knowledge of Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (STLS) qualifications.

What You’ll Need:
  • A recognised Assessor qualification (e.g. CAVA, A1, D32/33)
  • Experience assessing STLS or Teaching Assistant qualifications
  • Confidence conducting in-person assessments in educational settings
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A flexible, learner-focused approach

All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years’ referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
