- Location: Various sites across Bury
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30 (37 hours/week)
- Pay: £23 per hour

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Multi-Skilled Plumber to join our Housing Repairs team. This role involves delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance across Bury Council’s social housing stock. It is a field-based position with all job management handled digitally, making it essential for the candidate to be tech-savvy.
Day-to-day of the role:- Carry out plumbing repairs and installations in both occupied and void social housing units.
- Perform multi-skilled tasks including patch plastering, tiling, and minor joinery to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
- Diagnose and resolve issues efficiently, maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Utilise an iPad to manage and update job information in real-time.
- Maintain, operate, and responsibly manage the tools, equipment, and council vehicle provided.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety procedures and consistently wear appropriate PPE.
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants and stakeholders, ensuring all interactions are handled professionally.
- Must have completed a time-served plumbing apprenticeship or possess an NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing.
- Demonstrable experience in social housing repairs and maintenance.
- Skilled in additional trades such as plastering, tiling, and joinery.
- Independent worker capable of managing a full workload effectively.
- Must have a full, clean UK driving license.
- Comfortable with using digital devices for job management.
