Reed, on behalf of United Utilities are recruiting for a contract Standardisation Technician who has strong experience in using Microsoft SharePoint 365.
Client: United Utilities.
Job: Standardisation Technician
Location: Lingley Mere, Warrington WA4/ 2-3 days in the office with the remainder WFH.
Contract Length: 6 months rolling
Day rate: £187.89 PAYE OR £242.15 Umbrella (based on a 7.4 hour day).
Job Purpose:
As Standardisation Technician you will be responsible for delivery of all their technical related activities within Engineering and potentially across the organisation. The role will include:
To support in the delivery of standards and standard products to be utilised within the capital programme across our partner organisations.
To support in tracking benefits and other KPIs developed to assess Capital Delivery, Engineering and Commercial\'s (CECs) utilisation of standards and standard products performance and to evaluate engineering innovation programme delivery.
Working closely with the Standards Engineer to develop and maintain KPI dashboards, Standards Library and Standards Catalogue. Power BI
Working independently but in alignment with the Standards Engineer in maintaining strong relationships with other disciplines and internal clients (e.g. Standardisation Engineer’s, PEM’s, Asset Managers, Area Delivery Managers etc).
Responsibilities
- You will act as one of the Standardisation team SharePoint editors and support in document control of our library of mandatory, advisory standards and standard products - ensuring all are audited at timely intervals and amended as appropriate reflecting new ways of working.
- Ensuring that all activities undertaken are in accordance with Health and Safety Legislation and Accepted Practice
- Ensuring that all engineering outputs provided are in accordance with an appropriate Quality Management System e.g. checked and verified documents, drawings, specifications, and United Utilities’ Company Standards.
- Receiving documentation and information team from the standardisation team
- Helping with Document control admin
- Providing technical consistency across UU.
- KPI feedback (TCQ) specific to project & program delivery.
- KPI feedback specific to technical support from all internal client directorates
- KPI feedback from ESP specific to Knowledge and Standards support.
Experience Required
- Microsoft SharePoint 365
- Understanding of Power BI
- Document Control experience
