Reed Further Education are searching for a sports coordinator (enrichment officer) for a college based in Birmingham. The college has many campuses across the city, the candidate will be based at their Longbridge campus, however they will be required to travel across Birmingham to the various campuses when required.

The working hours would be Monday - Friday, 36.5 hours a week and the role is on an ongoing temporary basis.

Responsibilities:

  • You will manage and support the college's recreation, gym and leisure facilities and plan and deliver key events and activities.
  • Work with different teams, the Student Union and the community to offer enrichment activities that reflect diversity, cater to all students and foster personal development, good health and mental wellbeing.
  • Keep records and statistics of the activities and comply with the college's systems and values.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Must have a personal trainer qualification
  • Minimum Level 2 Maths and English (GCSE C)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Previous experience working in a sport, leisure, recreation setting
  • Previous experience working with young people
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Reed Compliance
