We are seeking a responsible Quality Inspector to ensure the quality of sub contracted work. The ideal candidate will be an advocate of quality within the business, possessing a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. This role is crucial in ensuring that the company’s products are made from flawless materials and well-functioning equipment, ultimately providing our customers with high-quality merchandise and contributing to our long-term success.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Interpret technical specifications and CAD drawings to understand the quality expectations for products and supplies.
- Develop and implement quality control methods to ensure all materials meet set standards, guidelines, and compliance for company use.
- Utilise SAGE software to record all inspection reports and quality issues; training on this software will be provided.
- Approve or reject raw materials, and liaise with suppliers to ensure replacements or repairs meet our requirements.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and input inspection procedures into SAGE software.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inspecting products.
- In-depth knowledge and comprehension of quality standards, in engineering with a manufacturing or assembly background.
- A full clean driving licence for local travel to and from warehouses is advantageous.
