Our client, Leicester City Council, is seeking an agency social worker for its Kinship team.
The role will involve the following:
- Kinship assessments including Fostering and SGO assessments
- There is the option of using office bases around the City as well as hybrid/working from home opportunities.

Requirements of the role:
- Qualified Social Worker
- Fully Social Work England registered
- 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
- Must haveexperience of using Form K and presenting assessment to Panel as well as understanding of legal proceedings
- Must have experience of Fostering Regulations and National Minimum Standards
- You’ll have experience of prioritising and organising work, setting standards and working to clear objectives, whilst having an in-depth knowledge of the issues affecting vulnerable children who are looked after and their foster carers.
