The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Our client, Herefordshire County Council, is seeking a Social Worker for its adult social care services. The pay rate is £35 umbrella.

The role will involve the following:

  • Carrying out Care Act Reviews, with an expectation to complete 4 – 5 reviews a week, depending on complexity.
  • Working in a hybrid system of part office/part home-based working.
  • Ability to work face to face in the office in Hereford and travel throughout the county for at least 2 days each week.
  • Autonomy in the booking of visits for the days in office and writing-up on the work from home days.

This role will initially span for a 3 month period.

Requirements of the role:

  • Qualified Social Worker
  • Fully Social Work England registered
  • Strong post-qualified experience in adult social care
  • Strong working knowledge of eligibility under the Care Act 2014 & the Mental Capacity Act 2005
  • Experience of completing Safeguarding Enquiries
  • Familiarity with a strengths-based approach
  • Excellent communication and written skills
