My client is looking for a Content Creator & Social Media Specialist. This role is pivotal in leading their digital marketing presence across various platforms. You will be responsible for crafting engaging content and managing social media to elevate and promote the brand.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Content Creation & Strategy
- Create and develop high-quality, engaging content including videos, graphics, and written materials for social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
- Plan and produce creative video content such as behind-the-scenes footage, interviews, and industry insights.
- Write compelling social media copy, blog posts, and short-form articles.
- Social Media Management
- Manage social media channels, ensuring consistent posting and audience engagement.
- Monitor trends, industry news, and competitors to identify content opportunities.
- Increase audience engagement by interacting with comments, messages, and other interactions promptly and professionally.
- Analyse social media performance using key metrics and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Brand & Campaign Development
- Collaborate with the Head of Marketing Communications to align content with company campaigns and strategic goals.
- Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent tone and visual identity across all platforms.
- Track, measure, and report on content and social media performance using analytics tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing in a fast-paced environment.
- Educated to a minimum of “A Level” standard in English language with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong storytelling and copywriting skills with the ability to create engaging content for diverse audiences.
- Experience in video creation and editing (e.g., CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro) and graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
- In-depth understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently with excellent planning and organising skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and a proactive mindset.
