They have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, results-driven salesperson looking for an opportunity of personal growth with genuine promotional prospects to senior level.

The company is an award-winning specialist wine importer and distributor, sourcing exclusive wines and spirits for the UK’s leading restaurants, hotels, and independent wine merchants. A dynamic, independently owned, successful business with a friendly, can-do attitude, this role would particularly suit someone with a similar outlook.

The ideal candidate will also bring with them the wine knowledge and industry experience to hit the ground running, along with the ability to combine their flair for sales with a strong team ethos. Working with an enviable portfolio of family-owned, boutique producers and bigger, well-known brands, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing sales with existing customers and identifying, targeting, and developing new business within the on-trade and independent off trade.

Skills & Experience

  • Min 5 years of selling and growing accounts in the on and off trade
  • Ambition for personal growth to a Senior Executive level
  • Proven ability to hit sales targets
  • An ability to work within a team and meet deadlines
  • Highly organised and with a strong eye for detail
  • Self-motivated with a positive outlook and excellent communication skills
  • A good wine knowledge, preferably to WSET Level 3 or above
  • IT proficient including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • A clean UK driving licence
