REED Recruitment are recruiting a Senior Management Accountant for a Fixed Term Contract up to April 2026, working for a not for profit social enterprise scheme.
Sites: Central Bournemouth
Salary: £41,824 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract Type: Fixed term contract - expected end date is April 2026
To lead the team and take responsibility for all aspects of the finance and accounting functions up to trial balance, and produce the company management accounts. This is to include responsibility for all input of sales and purchasing invoices, journals and payroll, as well as the reconciliations and management accounts process, ensuring all processes and account preparations are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
Prepare the year end accounts for external audit and support the annual external audit process.
To be successful you will need:
- To be ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Previous managerial experience, coaching, leading and developing others
- Experience of Management Accounts
- To be highly numerate, analytical and organised
- A very good working knowledge of Excel and accounting and reporting systems e.g. Xledger, Power BI
