Senior Healthcare Recruitment Consultant

  • Location: Belfast - Hybrid - You will need to be able to travel to Belfast on occasion, great flexibility for the right candidate

We are excited to announce the opening of our new office in Belfast and are seeking a talented 360° Healthcare Recruitment Consultant to spearhead our efforts. With comprehensive back-office support from our Nottingham HQ, you will have the autonomy to focus on cultivating relationships, building a robust candidate pool, and delivering high-quality staffing solutions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Drive business development with NHS Trusts, private hospitals, clinics, care providers, and social care organisations.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process: from prospecting and client onboarding through to placement and aftercare.
  • Recruit into critical frontline and specialist healthcare roles, including Paramedics & Paramedic Prescribers, Nurses & ANPs, GPs, Physiotherapists, and Social Workers.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates, ensuring compliance with NHS frameworks and industry regulations.
  • Match candidates to short-term cover, fixed-term projects, and long-term permanent opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of skilled healthcare professionals ready to respond to urgent and planned staffing needs.
  • Act as a trusted partner to clients, advising on workforce planning, market insights, and recruitment best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in healthcare recruitment (temporary and/or permanent).
  • Proven success in a 360° recruitment role with both business development and delivery responsibility.
  • Experience placing clinical professionals across nursing, medical, AHP, and social care sectors (you do not require experience in all of these areas)
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements in healthcare recruitment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to build lasting relationships at all levels.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, motivated by results, and comfortable working autonomously.
