We are seeking dedicated SEND Teachers who are looking for opportunities from the new academic year in Maidstone.
We are looking for people who have experience with the following:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences for SEND students.
- Develop schemes of work and lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives specific for students with autism and other special educational needs.
- Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students\’ varying needs and interests.
- Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.
- Observe and evaluate student performance and development.
- Provide appropriate feedback on work.
- Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of students\’ progress and development.
- Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by laws and school policies.
- Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.
- Participate in department, school, and parent meetings.
- Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
