Reed Education is seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join our supportive network. Day-to-day of the role:- Assist in the educational and social development of students under the direction and guidance of the head teacher and class teachers.
- Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills.
- Prepare learning materials under the supervision of the teacher.
- Work individually or in small groups with students to enhance their learning and development.
- Observe and report on the progress of students.
- Assist with the planning of learning activities and participate in creating a supportive learning environment.
- Experience in working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, understanding, and flexibility.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff.
