Are you a qualified Secondary Teacher looking for a change of pace or more control over your schedule? Whether you're seeking short-term flexibility or longer-term consistency, Reed Education Southampton has exciting opportunities waiting for you!
We’re currently recruiting passionate Secondary Teachers to work across a range of subjects in schools throughout Portsmouth and nearby areas. With roles designed around your availability and preferences, you’ll enjoy the freedom to teach without the extra workload.

Supply Cover (Day-to-Day)
- Teach from pre-set plans—no marking or planning required
- Perfect for teachers who want variety and flexibility
- Daily rate: £130–£150
Long-Term Supply
- Ongoing roles (1–5 days/week) for half or full terms
- Minimal planning, occasional marking, no take-home work
- Ideal for PPA cover or extended absence
- Daily rate: £130–£150, negotiable based on responsibilities
Class Teacher Cover (Long-Term)
- Full teaching responsibilities including planning, meetings & reports
- Become part of the school community for a term or more
- Daily rate: £130–£200, with potential to move to Teacher Pay Scale after 12 weeks
