We are currently seeking a dynamic Full-Time Maths Teacher to join a school in Wyre & Fylde starting in September. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of the curriculum, effective communication skills, and a dedication to creating an engaging learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and informative Maths lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 is advantageous.
- Utilise strong subject knowledge to enhance student learning and meet curriculum standards.
- Maintain effective classroom management and discipline to foster a conducive learning environment.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate lessons.
- Participate in school meetings and events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Recent relevant experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4; KS5 experience is beneficial.
