This role is integral to creating a welcoming atmosphere in a vibrant educational environment, supporting both the administrative team and the wider school community.
Day-to-Day of the Role:
- Provide a welcoming and professional front-of-house experience for all visitors, staff, pupils, and parents.
- Operate a busy multi-extension switchboard, ensuring efficient call handling and redirection.
- Maintain a tidy and organised reception area.
- Manage incoming and outgoing post and deliveries.
- Deliver high-quality administrative support to the wider school office team.
- Contribute to the smooth and efficient daily running of the school’s front office.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a receptionist preferred; experience in a school or similar setting is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
